Every check of the sources behind this site, newest first.

The figures change once a year, when the government publishes them. In between, the sources are checked every month and the result is written here, including when nothing has changed. A page's "updated" date only moves when one of its figures does.

• 23 October 2026: checked MHCLG's 2026-27 council tax tables (council levels published 25 March 2026, parish figures 6 May 2026) and the ONS Parishes and Non Civil Parished Areas (December 2025) boundaries. No figures changed.

What happens when

• February and early March: councils set the next year's council tax and send the bills. Their own published schedules are added for the councils this site covers, labelled as the council's figures.
• Late March: MHCLG publishes each council's levels, with the county, police and fire parts.
• May: MHCLG publishes every parish's precept. Every page moves to the new year.
• December: the Office for National Statistics updates parish boundaries, which can change which parishes are next door.
